A Great Night

Lovely lady,
I just thought I would write
To reiterate to you
How much I loved our night
And how I fell for you.

The stars were absent from thundering skies,
And the rain came pouring down.
I found the twinkling stars within your eyes
And a smile supplied by me, your clown.

Holding hands and cuddling close,
It just felt right.
